Retail Design Project

The Retail Design Project takes place in the old Ford building in downtown Fargo, ND. This design reflects the original characteristics of the existing space, while still meeting the codes and needs of today's world. The instructor assigned students with upperclassmen to transform a space from the boutique hotel they designed, and turn it into a retail shop. For my design, the group I was paired with chose an industrial style and for the shop, I chose to sell skincare. This project contains lighting elements, a custom cash wrap and display cart, and even designing a brand for the products.
